Our new Parish Nurse, Margie Mayfield, has arrived!!!
 |
Margie is a registered nurse with a hospital background in pediatric
critical care and, more recently, family health in the
field of public health nursing. She served as a
missionary nurse in South America for six years and
continues to be involved in care/compassion ministries
to the under-resourced. Wellness, not only physical,
but especially spiritual, relational and
emotional, is the goal of her nursing practice. She
is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University and Rio
Grande Bible Institute/Language School. She will be working on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during the summer months. If you are in need of help or some information she would be glad to meet with you and be of service to you as best she can. Margie’s installation will be on Sunday, July 27th, at the 8:30 A.M. Service. There will be a reception following the service. |

book A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose skyrocketed to the top of the
best sellers list. What is a Christian response to Tolle’s philosophy? Join us as we
discuss: "What is Truth?” (Jul 27th) “Who Is God?” (August 3rd) “Evil: Is It Real?" (August 10th) “The Real Jesus” (August 17th) “How Do I Know the Bible Is The Book?” (August 24th) While we look at Tolle’s teachings in the light of the Christian Scriptures, we will also look at some other philosophies in our world today. BrightLife meets on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m., in the sanctuary. |
